THE CHALLENGE
Fund services firms face considerable pressures to complete AML (anti-money laundering) reviews and regulatory filings across thousands of funds, SPV’s and investor records. These activities are mandatory and driven by strict deadlines. They are also highly repetitive and manual.
Processes are often run on manual checklists, spreadsheets and email coordination across operations, compliance and administration teams. Additionally, some jurisdictions have restrictive and time-consuming approaches to submitting reports and filings.
THE PROJECT
After a discovery process, several processes were identified as high-value candidates for robotic process automation. ClarityArc worked with the client to build the roadmap, select the RPA platform and design the architecture. Once in place, we ran pilots with the client to prove the business case. Upon completion, three processes were automated and put in production saving several FTE in temporary hiring, streamlined the onboarding experience and reduced compliance risk.
