The situation
Ahead of an AI assistant rollout, the concerns were security and information risk. There was no information architecture to implement against.
What we did
We reviewed the SharePoint estate against what an assistant would need from it: permissions, structure, and whether the content was current enough to answer from. The review found a significant number of high-risk issues. We designed the information architecture, along with the other remediation the estate needed.
What they came away with
A clear recommendation — close the high-risk gaps before going near a rollout, and treat the estate redesign as the step after that rather than something fixed on the way — and an information architecture ready to implement against.
