Where they started
The ETRM program needed a full reset. Senior business stakeholders brought us in when it became clear that adjusting the existing plan would not be enough.
What we did
A reset rather than a review — the program’s leadership, governance and plan all changed:
- Leadership. We replaced the program leadership.
- Governance and steering. We reset how the program was governed and steered, so decisions were made by the people accountable for the outcome and bad news reached them early.
- The integrator’s plan. We took over management of the systems integrator’s plan and held the work to it.
What changed
The program restarted on a new footing: new leadership, governance and steering that worked, and an integrator working to a plan the business controlled.
